Armonico
(project ref. number: PR19-PAI-P1)
Armonico is an advanced motorized ankle prosthesis engineered to deliver biomimetic, stable, and smooth walking—while minimizing the risk of stumbling. Its brushless motor provides adaptive stance-phase damping to support heel strike and rollover, angular repositioning on slopes for improved balance, and enhanced toe clearance for stumble prevention. Paired with a high-performance Energy Storing and Return (ESAR) foot, Armonico maximizes energy return and gait efficiency, helping users walk with greater ease and confidence (Patent No. WO2022101775A1).
Together, Armonico and Unico form Omnia, a fully integrated leg prosthesis system for transfemoral users. The knee and ankle communicate in real time via onboard sensors, continuously exchanging data and adapting parameters to synchronize movement across both joints. This intelligent integration ensures a cohesive, adaptive mobility experience—even in complex environments, delivering a safe, reliable, and innovative solution, tailored to real-world challenges. Driven by a user-centered design philosophy, Omnia represents Rehab Technologies’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of prosthetic performance.
