Marie Curie MINDED Research Fellow (https://minded-cofund.eu/) in the Nanotechnology for Precision Medicine lab at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia.

Working at the interface between nanomaterials and biology, I am interested in understanding on a fundamental level how biological systems (cells, tissues, and whole organisms) interact with biomaterials or nanomaterials, and how these lessons can be translated to biomedical applications. Specifically, I am researching how nanoparticles can "hitch" a ride on cells to transport across the blood-brain barrier.
