About

I'm biologist and currently work for the Genomic Unit IIT – IEO

Genomic Unit (GU) was created in 2009 from the collaboration between European Institute of Oncology (IEO) and Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). The Center is located within the IFOM-IEO Campus in Milan, one of the largest and most vibrant cancer research communities in Europe.

It is a core technological facility that provides a wide range of key genomic applications to its users. Through the routine use and the continual optimization of Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) technologies, the GU helps researchers study the structure and the regulation of the genome in tumors. By keeping up-to-date with newly available technologies and by adapting to its users’ needs, the GU provides the IEO and IIT scientists with an invaluable support in the development and optimization of tailored protocols.
