Nicholas Anthony is a Post Doc in the Department of Nanophysics, and the Nikon Centre (Nic@IIT).
His current research project involves the design and implementation of ptychographic imaging (a diffractive imaging technique) within super-resolution systems. This project is particularly focused on exploring improvements to the current ptychographic technique to advance its spatial and temporal resolution
Prior to this position Dr Anthony completed his PhD in physics at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Advanced Molecular Imaging at the La Trobe Institute for Molecular Science (LIMS), La Trobe University Melbourne, Australia. This work utilised the quantitative phase information, obtained using ptychography, to image anisotropic samples with applications to biological samples
