Giuliano Greco is head of Communication and External Relations Directorate of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT - Italian Institute of Technology) where he deals with media relations, external relations and institutional communication. Degree in biology from the University of Genoa, PhD in marine biology at the University College Cork (UCC) in Ireland, Executive Master in Communication and Public Affairs at IULM School of Communication (Milan) and member of FERPI (Italian Federation of Public Affairs), Giuliano Greco has been passionate about communicating science in different contexts since his early years of university studies. After two years as postdoc researcher at the Italian National Research Council (CNR) he decides to devote himself full time to communication: he is President and co-founder of Scientificast, the first Italian scientific podcast, and of the Pint of Science Italia association where he held the role of Communication Manager and takes part to several events related to scientific dissemination (Famelab International, Festival della Scienza in Genoa, the Internet Festival of Pisa, etc.). Giuliano Greco is also author and speaker of scientific podcasts for various platforms.
