About
Diego Ferigo was born in Cividale del Friuli (UD) in 1989. He received his BEng in Electronic Engineering in Oct. 2013, and MEng (with highest honours) in Electronic Engineering - Automation and Robotics in Apr. 2016 at the University of Udine (Italy).
In Feb. 2017 he started a Software Engineer position at the Italian Institute of Technology, working on projects related to Human Robot Interaction and Collaboration, Multimodal Sensor Fusion, Force and Motion Estimation, Humanoid Robotics.
Currently he is a PhD fellow in the Dynamic Interaction Control group and enrolled as split-site student in the University of Manchester. His research project is Reinforcement Learning for Humanoid Robot Locomotion and his interests include humanoid robotics, multi-physics simulations, real-time control.
