Sara completed her studies in Philosophy, specializing in the field of Aesthetics, at Catholic University of Milan (Italy) in 2018. In her Master’s thesis she analyzed from a phenomenological point of view the relationship between the perceiving subject and the artwork focusing on its sensible and bodily dimension.

She currently works at IIT as a PhD Student, studying the mechanism of perception of space and time in the elderly and with particular attention to the embodied interaction process. She also works on the Artificial Self and its role within a cognitive architecture of a socially interactive agent.
