PhD student in Psychology and Social Neuroscience, affiliated with the CoSAN Lab at Department of Psychology, Sapienza University of Rome and with the Neuroscience and Society laboratory at the CLNS@Sapienza, Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia.

I am interested in the role of group categorization and stigmatization processes driven by race, sexual orientation and other social factors during nonverbal communication behaviors (with particular focus on affective touch and the regulation of the interpersonal distance). My research takes into account the behavioral and psychophysiological reactions of human participants interacting with virtual agents in immersive virtual environments.
