About

Isabella Fiorello is a PhD student in Biorobotics jointly at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa and at the Center for Micro-BioRobotics (CMBR) of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Pontedera (Italy) under the supervision of the CMBR Director, Dr Barbara Mazzolai. She received her Master Degree in Industrial Biotechnology (with honours) from the University of Turin, in April 2017. Her research interests are related to innovative technologies inspired by living organisms. Especially, her PhD project focuses on the development of bio-inspired soft micro-robots and devices inspired by plants.
