About

I am Shehzaib Shafique, a passionate researcher with expertise in AI-based assistive technologies, biomedical signal processing, machine learning, and deep learning. I did a PhD in Bioengineering and Robotics and a Master's and Bachelor's in Biomedical Engineering.
I am currently working as a Post Doctoral Researcher at the renowned UVIP lab, where I have the privilege of working under the expert guidance of Dr. Monica Gori. My research is dedicated to advancing assistive systems tailored for individuals with sensory impairments. Pursuing this noble goal, I harness the power of cutting-edge technologies such as computer vision and deep learning. By leveraging these innovative approaches, I aim to empower sensory-impaired individuals to live life independently, reducing their reliance on external assistance and enhancing their quality of life. With an unwavering commitment to making a positive impact, I aim to push the boundaries of knowledge and contribute to the betterment of society.
