About

Hi,

I am a Marie Curie fellow at IIT interested in studying the bioelectrical properties of living matter, currently with a particular focus on cancerous cells and epithelial cells. I find this field particularly fascinating as it spans from the fundamental understanding of biological properties of cells and tissues, such as cell migration and mutation phenomena, to the technological innovation required to access this information. Applications include drug testing, diagnostics, and therapeutics.

In July 2021 I completed my PhD at Imperial College London, where I worked on curved ocular sensors for tear fluid analysis. Previously, I was a research associate at CERN where I contributed to the development of microfluidic scintillators for particle detection.

Feel free to reach out if you wish to discuss collaborations and opportunities :)
