Martina joined the Nanobiointeractions & Nanodiagnostics Laboratory at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genoa in 2024, where her research is focused on the application of nanozymes in biomedicine. She completed her PhD in Materials Science at the University of Santiago de Compostela in 2023, specializing in the design of cell membrane-coated nanosystems for targeted drug delivery.
