About me
Luca Carpaneto obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Genoa (UniGe), and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Robotics Engineering at the same university.
His professional experience began in 2023 as a mechanical designer, first at Phase Motion Control and later at ASG Superconductors, before joining the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). He has worked across various sectors, including electric motors, superconducting magnets, and robotics.
He is currently working at IIT as a Technician in the Robotic Automation and Inspection Laboratory (RAIN Lab), part of the Advanced Robotics (ADVR) Department, focusing on robotics for industrial site inspection, maintenance, and safety.
Projects
My activities at IIT include the following projects:
2025 - now - Terna - Development of robotic systems for the inspection and maintenance of high-voltage towers.
