About

I am a PhD student with a background in psychology and cognitive neuroscience. I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Milano-Bicocca in 2022, followed by a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of Parma. During my master's studies, I developed a strong interest in multisensory integration and body representation, inspired by the work of Professor Vittorio Gallese. This interest led me to carry out my master's thesis at EPFL, where I investigated the embodiment of prosthetic limbs through thermal stimulation.

My research interests in multisensory integration and body representation evolved into my current PhD project within the S4HRI research line, under the supervision of Agnieszka Wykowska. My current work focuses on the sense of agency in human–machine interaction, exploring how people experience control over actions while interacting with machines.

My research interests:
- Sense of agency in human-robot and human-machine interaction ;
- Detection of cognitive workload during human-robot interaction ;
- EEG microstates analysis.
