I am a PhD candidate at the Human-Robot Interfaces and physical Interaction (HRI²) group at the Istuto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), Genoa, and at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa, Italy. I received a B.Sc. degree in Information Engineering and M.Sc. degree in Control and Automation Engineering from University of Padova, Italy. I was part of the program committee of the International Workshop on Human Friendly Robotics 2020. My research, developed within the Horizon-2020 European project SOPHIA, the ERC grant Ergo-Lean and the Amazon Research Awards 2019, focus on combining robotics knowledge with artificial intelligence, with the aim to boost collaborative robotics in smart factories. My interests lie in human-robot collaboration, robot control and learning.
