Marta Lagomarsino is pursuing a PhD at the Human-Robot Interfaces and Interaction Laboratory of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia and at the Electronic Information and Bioengineering Department of Politecnico di Milano. She received the BD in Biomedical Engineering in 2018 and the MD in Robotics Engineering in 2020, both with honours from the University of Genoa. She developed her Master's thesis project at the University of Twente (Enschede, Netherlands), which has been awarded by GNB and UBCM di Roma. She was awarded Most Promising Italian Researcher in Robotics and AI at the 2023 RomeCup. Her research mainly focuses on monitoring human intentions and developing human-robot interaction strategies to improve cognitive ergonomics in hybrid industrial environments.
