About

I am currently completing my PhD in Physics at IIT, in joint collaboration with the University of Parma. I use microscopes for studying specific protein-based compounds to be used in a cancer treatment called Photodynamic Therapy (PDT).

I carried out my Master's studies at the University of Parma (Biophysics Curriculum) and I took part in a 6-month Erasmus project in Stockholm, Sweden, at the SciLifeLab (jointly with the Royal Institute of Technology, KTH) in an advanced light-microscopy laboratory.

I am an eager scientist and a curious reader. I am keen on science communication.
