What this is about
IIT accepts applications in the framework of the Erasmus+ programme.
IIT cannot participate in classical academic exchanges (we are not a University). We offer traineeship/internship positions, with students involved in research projects carried out in IIT labs, and supervised by IIT staff; credits (ECTS) will be awarded by the sending institution (the University) on the basis of duration and characteristics of the project.
What’s in it for you
Our research activities are organized in four domains: computational sciences (e.g., molecular modelling, artificial intelligence), life technologies (e.g., molecular and behavioural neurosciences), nanomaterials (materials for energy or health), robotics (humanoid and industrial robots).
You can expect to develop hands-on competences in one or more of these areas, by carrying out a closely supervised project in state-of-the-art laboratories.
What you need to do
You can select an internship currently on offer (list below); in alternative, you may also contact directly a group at IIT and explore the option for an internship in additional subjects. Either way, you will then be asked to sign (together with IIT and your sending institution) a Learning Agreement for Traineeship.
Key points
Finances – you will be supported by Erasmus+ funds through your University Reports – at the end of your stay, you will have to submit a Transcript of Work signed by an IIT representative and a narrative report of the activities conducted on our premises.
