Emir Mobedi obtained his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2019 from İzmir İnstitute of Technology with a thesis entitled “Design and Development of a Continuously Variable Transmission System to be used in Human-Robot Interfaces”. Since 2020, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Bioengineering at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Elena De Momi, Neuroengineering and Medical Robotics Laboratory (NearLab), working in collaboration with Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), under the supervision of Dr. Arash Ajoudani at Human-Robot Interfaces and Physical Interaction (HRI2) laboratory. His research is mainly focused on the design and development of assistive technologies for industrial applications, and shared control strategies for exoskeletons.
