About
Juan M. Gandarias is a postdoctoral researcher at the Human-Robot Interfaces and Physical Interaction lab (HRI) at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). He received his B.S., M.S., and P.h.D. in Mechatronics from the University of Malaga in 2015, 2017, and 2020, respectively. He has contributed to several Spanish and European projects related to search-and-rescue, physical robotic assistance, and Human-Robot Collaboration in Industrial environments. His research interests include pHRI, human modeling, and haptic perception.
