I am currently a PostDoc at the Humanoids & Human Centered Mechatronics (HHCM) Research Line working on Haptics and Teleoperation. I received my MSc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece in 2013 and my Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the University of Genova, Genoa, Italy in 2017. My Ph.D. research lied on the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Machine Learning and Computer Vision, with an emphasis on unsupervised data modeling, deep learning, probabilistic graphical models and time-series analysis. I have participated in and currently work on European and national projects.
