As a Researcher in Advanced Robotics (ADVR), I lead the VICARIOS Mixed Reality and Simulations research lab, exploring MR for immersive telerobotics, training, and digital twin technologies. I currently lead the "Robot Teleoperativo 2" project on advanced collaborative telerobotics systems for operating in hazard-prone industries. I co-lead the "Caduta dall'Alto" (Falling from Heights) project on novel safety and immersive training systems for workers working at heights.
Previously, I was a postdoc in the Biomedical Robotics Lab with Dr. Leonardo Mattos, working on telesurgery, surgeon-robot interfaces, and holistic telesurgical skills assessment.
