Goffredo Giordano received his M.Sc. in condensed matter physics, and nanotechnologies for biomedicine and the environment in 2016 from the University of Salento, Italy. He is currently a Ph.D. student in Biorobotics at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna (Pisa), and affiliated scholarship student at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in the Bioinspired Soft Robotics group under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Mazzolai. He focuses on the development of mechanochromic biomimetic systems, stretch-tunable optical materials, fiber-optic based sensing systems, optoelectronics and soft robotics.
