I graduated from Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2011. In my diploma thesis, titled “Navigation learning for skier robot”, I implemented and analysed several machine learning methods for teaching robot skier how to navigate various tracks in real skiing environment.
I recived Ph.D. in robotics from University of Lujbljana in 2015. Ph.D (thesis: “Accelerated robotic learning for interaction with environment and human based on sensory-motor learning”, link - in Slovenian).
I was a Ph.D. student at the Department of Automation, Biocybernetics and Robotics, Jožef Stefan Institute, Ljubljana from 2011 to 2015. During this time I was mainly working on human-in-the-loop robot learning of physical interaction with humans or environment.
I did part of my Ph.D. study at the Department of Brain-Robot Interface of ATR Computational Neuroscience Laboratories in Kyoto, Japan in 2013 and 2014. During the visits I worked on developing a novel method for exoskeleton control.
