I finished my studies in Theoretical Philosophy at the Catholic University of Milan (Italy) in 2018. During the last year of my master’s degree, I devoted my research on how the perception of the world is influenced by fantasy and to the field of empathy in social interaction, both adopting a phenomenological approach. I wrote my dissertation during a period at the Bergische Universität Wuppertal, Germany, with particular attention to Marc Richir’s thought.

In March 2019, I moved to another field of research to study Human-Robot Interaction. I have been working in the ERC-funded project “wHiSPER”, to study shared perception with Robots for 7 months. At present, I am carrying out this research as a PhD Student in Bioengineering and Robotics with a profile in Cognitive Robotics. Currently, my fields of research are human perceptual structures of sociality within Human-Robot Interaction, cognitive architectures for robots built on a human-based approach, and the development of the thought about the artificial Self.
