Biografia

Andrea Zunino is a researcher in AI & Robotics at Leonardo - Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) joint lab. He collaborates with the Human-Robot Interfaces and Physical Interaction (HRI²) and the Humanoids & Human Centered Mechatronics (HHCM) laboratories at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). He received the B.Sc. degree in 'Telecommunications Engineering', the M.Sc. degree in 'Multimedia Signal Processing and Telecommunication Networks' from the University of Genoa (Italy) in 2011 and 2014 respectively. He pursued the Ph.D. in 'Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision' at IIT, Pattern Analysis & Computer Vision (PAVIS) department, from 2014 to 2017.  He continued as PostDoc Researcher in PAVIS department, from 2017 to 2019. After that, he worked as Video Intelligence Researcher in Huawei Ireland Research Centre, Dublin from 2019 to 2021.  He now works with the Leonardo Labs of Genoa where he serves as a Perception Researcher in the AI and Robotics team. His research interest focuses on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Domain Adaptation and Explainable AI.
