Dr. Lamberti received the PhD degree in Electronic Devices with a thesis entitled "Metal-oxide nanostructures for energy applications" from Politecnico di Torino in 2013. He worked as post-doc researcher at Italian Institute of Technology on the in synthesis and characterization of innovative metal-oxide nanostructured materials and their integration into energy conversion and storage devices. Currently, he is working as Assistant Professor at Department of Applied Science and Technology in Politecnico di Torino on the study of innovative graphene-based nanostructures, metal-oxide nanomaterials and technological processes for the fabrication of energy harvesting and storage devices. He is the author of over 100 publications in international journals, 6 patents and several book chapters, and is a full member of the editorial board of Micromachines and Journal of Advances in Materials Science and Engineering, emerging journals in the field of micro and nanomaterials and innovative technologies applied to engineering. The international research collaborations established so far by Dr. Lamberti range from the United States, Europe to Australia on issues related to nanomaterials and nanotechnologies applied to devices for electronics and energy. He is also the Italian representative of the International Commission of Nanomaterials of the International Union for Science, Technology and Applications of Vacuum (IUVSTA) and a member of the directive committe of the Italian Association of Science and Technology (AIV).
