Pietro Rossi was born in Monza (Italy) in 1994. He studied at Politecnico di Milano, where he obtained a BSc degree in Materials Engineering (2016), followed by a MSc degree in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology (2019). Between 2018-2019, he has been a visiting research student at the  Centre for Disruptive Photonic Technologies (CDPT) in Nanyang Technological University (NTU), where under the supervision of Prof. C. Soci he studied interfacial interactions between semiconducting polymers and electrolytes applying optical techniques.

Currently he is a PhD candidate at CNST@Polimi (Center for Nano Science and Technology - Italian Institute of Technology) under the co-supervision of Prof. G. Lanzani and Dr. M. Caironi. His research activity focuses on the development of organic semiconducting materials to be applied in flexible thermoelectric generators, in particular studying charge transport properties in doped systems.
