I am an electrical engineer with a background in photonic technologies. My main scientific interests are related to new light source technologies and by the generation of light with properties tailored to specifics needs, as well as their applications of light in life and health sciences. I' m currently working on a laser source that can produce complex states of polarized light for polarization-resolved label-free optical microscopy.
Beyond the research interest, I believe in the relevance of photonics as enabling technology for many applications in the near future and I'm super attracted by the wide variety of small deep-tech business that are rising from photonics research centers and university labs.
