Chiara Ansaldo is a PhD student in the Unit for Visually Impaired People (U-VIP), directed by Dr. Monica Gori at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) in Genoa. She has a background in Bionics Engineering and Computer Engineering, with expertise in computational neuroscience, neural interfaces, and neural signal processing.
She is currently focusing on the development of sensory and multisensory processing during childhood, using EEG and behavioural measures to investigate how the brain processes and integrates sensory information. Her research combines neural physiology, computational approaches, and neuroengineering to better understand the mechanisms underlying human sensory perception and their development.
