Neha Patil received her Masters degree from Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata in 2015. She then joined as a PhD fellow at the Luxembourg Institute of Health working on understanding the role of Natural Killer (NK) cells in chronic bacterial lung infections, graduating in 2021. She joined Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), Genoa, Italy in 2025, where she continues working on NK cells at the interface of biology and chemistry, by using nanomaterial-laden NK cells against tumour defence.
