Vinay Rodrigues is a PhD student since March, 2025 in the Human-Robot Interfaces and Interaction Laboratory (HRII) of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). Before starting his PhD, he was a Research Fellow in HRII. He received his M.Sc. degree in Robotic Systems Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, Germany in 2023. His master thesis was about Kinetostatic Analysis for 6RUS Parallel Continuum Robot using Cosserat Rod Theory where he worked on modelling and evaluation of boundary conditions for a parallel continuum robot at DFKI Bremen, Germany. He completed his B.Eng. degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Mumbai, India in 2017. His is interested in developing Learning-based control for robot manipulators.
