I am a biomedical engineer (BSc and MSc from Politecnico di Milano), passionate about lower-limb prostheses design. After a brief working experience in an Italian company manufacturing carbon fibre prosthetic feet, I pursued a PhD in biomedical engineering at the University of Salford (Manchester, UK), focusing on the design of a novel hydraulic prosthetic ankle. I've been working at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Genoa as a postdoctoral researcher since April 2020, and specifically at the Soft Robotics for Human Cooperation and Rehabilitation Lab since July 2021.
