Postdoctoral Researcher in the Brain Development and Disease Lab at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT). My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders, with a particular interest in hydrocephalus and cerebrospinal fluid homeostasis. My current work investigates choroid plexus ion transport mechanisms and the therapeutic potential of targeting NKCC1 to modulate CSF secretion and improve neurological outcomes.
