I work in the Research Organization Directorate of the Italian Institute of Technology, where I coordinate the Data Analysis Office.
My work focuses on data analysis, institutional reporting, indicators, dashboards, and software tools that support IIT research-related processes and decision-making. The office integrates and analyses data from multiple sources, including scientific publications, projects and grants, technology transfer, patents, spin-offs, and HR information, producing recurring and customized reports and dashboards for internal and external processes.
I also coordinate the development and improvement of internal reporting systems and digital tools aimed at making research-related data reliable, accessible, and usable across the institute. This includes contributing to the evolution of Scientilla, IIT’s in-house open-source platform for managing scientific output and career progression information.
I graduated in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Genoa and later completed a PhD in Bioengineering and Bioelectronics. Before moving into my current role, I worked as a software developer in private companies and as a researcher in academic and clinical research environments, including collaborations with the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Giannina Gaslini Children’s Hospital, as well as a postdoctoral position at IIT. My earlier experience includes biomedical applications, medical image processing, functional MRI studies, and advanced imaging systems.
My profile combines data analytics, software development, institutional reporting, and a scientific background. I work at the intersection of users, data, and software development teams, translating complex information needs into practical solutions.
