The plan seeks to foster a coordinated and focused approach to promoting gender equality and to support the sharing and adoption of best practices within IIT.
The planned measures address the challenges identified in the Gender Equality Plan and align with the updated IIT 2024-2029 Strategic Plan (Human Capital and High-Level Education Chapter).
On January 28, 2026, the Gender Equality Plan was approved by IIT’s Top Management for the three-year period 2026–2028.
