I studied Molecular and Health Biology at the University of Genova, where I got my Ph.D. in Science and Technologies for the Environment and the Territory (STAT) in 2020 investigating the effects of natural and synthetic compounds on lipid accumulation and inflammation in hepatocytes, endotheliocytes, and adipocytes. From 2020 to 2021, I was a Postdoctoral Research at the Department of Experimental Medicine at the University of Genova, where I studied an in vitro model of neuroblastoma differentiation. I am currently working as a Postdoctoral Research in Prof. Alberto Diaspro’s group– Nanoscopy Department - of the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia.

My current research activity focuses on the investigation of chromatin architecture modifications involved in neuroblastoma onset and progression.
