Vasiliki Katsageorgiou is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Humanoids & Human Centered Mechatronics (HHCM) Research Line of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), Genoa, Italy, working on Haptics and Teleoperation. She received her MSc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece in 2013 and her Ph.D. in Computer Vision and Machine Learning from the University of Genova, Genoa, Italy in 2017. Her Ph.D. research lied on the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Statistical Machine Learning and Computer Vision, with an emphasis on unsupervised data modeling, deep learning, probabilistic graphical models and time-series analysis. She has participated in and currently work on European and national projects.
