I’ve obtained my PhD in physics in 2008 in Genova (Italy) working on an experiment on antimatter.
I’ve worked in several laboratories (Genova, Heidelberg, CERN), obtaining in this years an advanced knowledge in electronics (from the design up to the physical realization and test of the device), PCB design and FPGA programming in VHDL.
I’m an expert in the use of Labview, Labview RT, National instrument devices and data acquisition hardware/software in general. I’ve good knowledge in programming in C, even if my favoured kind of work is with Hardware.
I'm currently employed in IIT (Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia) where I work in a project on Industrial robotics as responsible for the hardware and control system of robotic grippers to be used in automotive.
