Andrea Mura received his master's degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Genova (Italy) in 2001. He worked on analog microelectronic design for several years, starting from his master's thesis in collaboration with ATMEL Corporation in Rousset Cedex (France) in 2001.
In the 2002 he joined Accent S.p.A., a joint venture between ST Microelectronics and Cadence Design System, as Analog Consulting Engineer. Here he worked for seven years as analog microelectronic designer in several projects with different application fields. During 2003/2004 he worked as external consultant at Infineon Technology, Villach (Austria).
In the 2009 he moved to GEDEC - GEnova DEsign Center, an ATMEL Corporation's design center located in Genova, as microelectronic designer. After this, in the 2010 he joined Ultraflex Control System in Busalla (Italy) as hardware and firmware designer and working on electronic systems and automations.
In 2012 he moved to Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT) in Genova joining the iCub Facility as electronic designer.
