Scientific Staff
The scientific staff carry out all research activities of the Foundation.
Fellow / Post Doc: various levels of seniority, starting with those who are about to obtain a Ph.D. to those who received their PhD several years ago. Their work is carried out within the units of research coordinated by principal investigators.
Researcher: carry out research activities independently within the Research Unit in which they operate and in coordination with the principal investigator. Researchers manage small research groups composed of post-docs and /or PhD students.
Technologist: responsible for managing facilities, coordinating their personnel, or carrying out research activities with technology transfer objectives.
Principal Investigator (PI): responsible for a Research Unit and for implementing the scientific program, their part of the budget, and coordination of their staff.
Technicians
Infrastructure technicians: maintenance workers, the Technical Office and ICT operators who are responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure and IT facilities.
Laboratory technicians: responsible for the organization and maintenance of laboratory instruments and equipment, data recording, as well as checking the efficiency and precision in scientific experiments and research.
Administrative Staff
Administrative staff include experts in technology transfer, protection of intellectual property, communication, and activities related to organizing research.
