Wojciech Mrόz was born in Gdańsk (Poland) in 1981. He received his Master of Science degree in physics in 2005 at Gdańsk University of Technology. Between 2006 and 2008 he worked at University of Milano-Bicocca in a group of prof. Riccardo Tubino and prof. Francesco Meinardi, focusing his research on stimulated emission from phosphorescent organometallic complexes. From 2008 till 2017 he worked at the Institute for Macromolecular Studies, National Research Council (CNR) in Milan, under a guidance of dr. Chiara Botta and Umberto Giovanella. His occupation included production and characterization of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and measurements of photophysical properties of compounds applied in OLEDs. Between 2011 and 2012 he collaborated also with industrial partner, working on reproducibility and stability of OLEDs. In 2017 he received PhD in physics from Gdańsk University of Technology defending a thesis about photophysical processes in the selected white organic light-emitting diodes. In 2018 he has joined a group of dr. Annamaria Petrozza at the Center for Nano Science and Technology (CNST@PoliMi), Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). His main tasks are production and characterization of perovskite light-emitting diodes.
