Fabrizio obtained his Master's Degree in Automation Engineering at Alma Mater Studiorum (University of Bologna) in 2016. His Master Thesis concerned the study and application of Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to visual inspection in industrial environments, and it was carried out during a seven months internship at Datalogic Holdings, in Pasadena, California.
Right after his graduation, he sought for a career in Research and Development in Robotics and/or Computer Vision. Within IIT, he worked in the Advanced Robotics department, specializing in industrial applications of artificial intelligence techniques for multi-agent robot coordination.
In 2017 he started his PhD in Multimodal Perception and Grasping within the iCub facility.
