About

1st December 2017 - Today

Since December 2018 A. Chiodoni is Senior Technician at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), Center for Sustainable Future Technologies - CSFT@POLITO of Torino.

She coordinates the Electron Microscopy facilities and laboratories of CSFT. She also coordinates a scientific activity addressed to photo-electro heterogeneous catalysis of CO2 reduction into valuable fuels and chemicals, in the framework of Advanced Materials research line, PI Fabrizio Pirri.

16th May 2016 - 30th November 2017

Since May 2016 A. Chiodoni is Researcher at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), Center for Sustainable Future Technologies - CSFT@POLITO of Torino.

1st December 2012 - 15th May 2016

Since December 2012 A. Chiodoni is Researcher Technologist at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (IIT), Centre for Space Human Robotics (CSHR@POLITO) of Torino. She coordinates the electron microscopy laboratories and facilities. At present her scientific activity is mainly addressed to study bio-inpired systems in the framework of the bio-inpired energy reserach line.

1st December 2009 - 30th November 2012

Since December 2009 A. Chiodoni is a researcher of  IIT at the Centre for Space Human Robotics-Politecnico di Torino. Her scientific activity is devoted to the development and characterization of materials and devices for the energy harvesting and storage (e.g. photovoltaic, batteries, microbial fuel cells,…). In particular, her activity is focused on the characterization and processing of materials by means of X-ray diffraction, Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM - in the very next future), in collaboration with the Department of Materials Science and Chemical Engineering of the Politecnico of Torino.

9th October 200930th November 2009

A. Chiodoni is post-doc guest in the group of prof. A. Rizzi (IV. Physikalisches Institut - Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany) in the framework of the “Nanolicht” European project, for TEM characterization of InN nanowires, and in particular for the TEM characterization of the InN-In2O3 interface.

1st July 2005 – 30th November 2009

Post-Doc activity at the Politecnico di Torino focused mainly on the characterization of different micro and nanostructured materials and devices by means of Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), and on the study of the structural properties of innovative photoanodes for Graetzel solar cells (Dye Sensitized solar Cells).
