Alberto Cardellino received his Bachelor’s Degree in Automation Engineering in 2005 and Master’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering at Polytechnic of Turin in 2008 with a Thesis on robust control theory applied to Humanoid Robot.
Joined IIT working on teleoperated small mobile robots in 2008, then moved to humanoid robots like iCub, Walkman (https://www.walk-man.eu/) and service robots as R1.
My activities ranges from embedded software, linux device driver to high level software design and implementation, highly customizable communication framework in multiplatform environment, mainly C/C++ OOP.
Experience with Linux OS on x68 and ARM platform, Jetson TX2. Work with IMU, kinect-like sensors.
Good knowledge of Git versioning system and CMake build system
Competence on C, C++, multi-threading and custom device drivers on ARM based platforms and Linux OS have been developed during working activities.
