The Human-Robot Interfaces and physical Interaction (HRI2) Research Line of Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, is looking for a highly motivated and ambitious postdoctoral researcher to conduct studies on machine learning techniques applied to collaborative robotic systems with a focus on real-world applications.
The successful candidates will work on a project linked to the AMAZON research awards, which include the following topics:
- AI-based task planning and scheduling for multi-robot teams
- Human-robot collaboration and interaction
- Human biomechanical modelling
- Robot interaction control
The HRI2 Lab is known for its cutting-edge research in the areas of human-robot interaction and collaboration, teleoperation, assistive robotics, and the synthesis of human motor behaviour. More information is available at: https://hri.iit.it/
The successful candidate must have a strong background in supervised learning, reinforcement learning, and convolutional neural networks with experience on real robots or vision-based systems.
