Senior Full Stack Web Developer - [ Administrative ]

The Research Organization Directorate is seeking a technical and skilled senior web developer to work in the Data Analysis Office (DAO). The mandate of the DAO is to design and create methods and software solutions to monitor and evaluate the scientific production of the institute and its staff, together with supporting research activities. As a member of this team, you will guide and coordinate other developers, contributing to the development of institutional software applications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the software developers of the office
  • Design, develop and maintain the Data Analysis Office software architecture.
  • Continuously improving the IIT scientific production platform (publications, patents, projects, ...).
  • Provide systems and utilities to support research evaluation processes of the institutes (APIs, integration of existing systems, ...).
  • Develop software tools to answer requests coming from research groups.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years experience in designing and developing web applications
  • Deep knowledge of Javascript and SQL
  • Very strong expertise with back-end coding (e.g. Node Js, PHP) and front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS)
  • Good knowledge of at least one front-end framework (e.g. Angular, React, Vue, ...)
  • Good Knowledge of OOP and Design Patterns
  • Familiar with modern Javascript development (e.g. npm, build systems, testing, browser compatibilities)
  • Working knowledge of Git versioning system
  • Databases design with SQL/NoSQL (PostgreSQL, Redis)
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Organizational, planning and coaching skills.
  • Fluent in English
