Fondazione Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia – IIT (www.iit.it) is opening a post-doctoral position on time-resolved optical spectroscopy with the aim of studying electron-phonon coupling dynamics in perovskite semiconductors.
The research activity will be carried out at the “Center for Nano Science and Technology” of the Fondazione Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia in Milan (Italy), under the supervision of Dr Annamaria Petrozza (Advanced Materials for Optoelectronics) in the framework of the Horizon 2020 ERC Consolidator Grant SOPHY Grant Agreement N. 771528 (The role of Softness in the Physics of Defects: Probing Buried Interfaces in Perovskites Optoelectronic Devices).
Eligible applicants are required to have a PhD either in Physics, Physical Chemistry or a related discipline
Proven experimental expertise in ultrafast optical spectroscopy and hands-on experience with optical spectroscopic techniques, ultrafast laser technology, time-resolved measurements is required.
The successful candidate will be fluent in English.
Salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience and in line with international standards.
