The Artificial Physiology Lab within IIT is looking for a highly motivated candidate with a Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines.
The Artificial Physiology Lab deals with human-machine interfaces, developing sensors and advanced algorithms in the context of prosthetics, neuro-muscular rehabilitation, industry 4.0, wellness and sport. The Lab is involved in projects where clinical partners will share resources, competencies and motivation to achieve excellent results transferable to the medical field.
The selected candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team developing medical sensors in the area physiological monitoring, human-machine interface and rehabilitation engineering. In particular, the candidate will be part of a project in the industry 4.0 field (HOME - Hierarchical Open Manufacturing Europe – funded by the Regione Piemonte with Grant POR-FESR Piemonte 2014/2020 “Fabbrica Intelligente” - project code 319-50; EPNZ006801), dealing with movement detection and reconstruction.
