The “Nanomaterials for Biomedicals” Research Line, under the supervision of Dr. Teresa Pellegrino, invites applications for one junior postdoctoral position focused on the Synthesis of magnetic-based inorganic heterostructure for post structural transformation.
Eligible candidates should have a Ph.D. and a bachelor in Chemistry, Materials Science or Physics.
The ideal candidate has a primary PhD and/or bachelor experience on the synthesis of nanocrystals. A background in magnetic and structural characterization of nanomaterials is also welcome.
The candidate will develop new synthesis procedures of magnetic-based heterostructures and perform the material characterization and post synthesis manipulation of inorganic heterostructures, including post structural transformation (such as cation exchange/intercalation reaction).
Marked motivation for research and creativity are mandatory as well as good communication and writing skills in English.
